In 2009, BTCS entered into a strategic alliance with Imara Holdings Limited, a pan-African listed financial services group which led to the setting up of Imara Beresford International Limited as the holding company for BTCS, Imara Trust Company (Mauritius) Limited, Beresford Pension Trust Limited and Beresford Fiduciaire Suisse.
Whilst BTCS’ main focus is Fund Administration business, trust and company formation and administration activities are conducted by our sister company namely, Imara Trust Company (Mauritius) Limited. Beresford Pension Trust Limited, on the other hand, is licensed to provide trusteeship and administration of pension trusts governed by the Beresford International Pension Plan (a licensed Retirement Benefit Scheme) which is an HMRC approved QROPS.
